About Us
With a background in HIU manufacturing, Dave knew there was a need for HIU aftercare within the industry. This is because, unlike gas boilers, HIUs are usually just installed and it's then generally left to the building owner or manager to maintain their upkeep. Over time, the units can be affected by poor water quality and dirt in the pipes clogging up the system, which can be costly and complex to repair.
Dave began providing advice and support to property management companies and housing associations, troubleshooting their often complex issues. Realising the demand for expert HIU aftercare, Dave founded DR HIU in 2022, bringing onboard the expertise of former colleagues and other industry professionals.
Fast forward to today, and he has a nationwide team of HIU specialists and engineers, with experience of almost every make and model. Focusing on servicing and commissioning, Dave and his team are on hand to help you with any kind of HIU, heat meter and heat network query.
